Beauty | Lunchtime Beauty Bargains

Usually I stick to what I know, Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation and Concealer, sealed with my MAC powder but recently I've been looking for some bank balance friendly alternatives, at least for day to day wear in the office.

So, I popped into my local Boots branch at lunch yesterday and managed to grab some promising drugstore cosmetic bargains;

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer £3.99 - had £3.00 off.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation £4.99 - had £3.00 off
Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Concealer x 2 £5.49 but on buy one, get one half price so £8.29 for both.

Here's hoping this Rimmel full coverage 25 hour foundation gives me the base I love so much.  It also comes in a medium finish but I'm used to a full coverage so I stuck with that and picked up the lightest shade they had in store; Ivory.  sadly they were out of the very lightest shade; light porcelain but I'm hoping the Ivory will do the job for now.

I picked up the primer as I liked the texture of it.  It's more creamy than my normal NYX Photo-Loving Primer so I'm hoping it'll be a new favourite of mine in the next few months.

At lastly, for a while the blogging world was raving about the Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Concealer so I picked up two in the lightest shade and will be giving them a bash this weekend.

Have you tried any of these products?  I hope you had success.  Wish me luck :)

    1. I've been alternating between this primer and my laura mercier one and I have to say, it's not bad at all. I'd certainly buy it again. Not loving the foundation just as much as my Double Wear but I think it's a hard task :) xx
