Lucky Dip Club | October 2015

Y'know when you completely lose track of what day it is?  Yea, that's where I'm at right now.

It's almost the end of October and that means my new LUCKY DIP CLUB subscription box arrived today!

I'm still trying to find the new "thing" for me.  Beauty boxes have left me a little underwhelmed and last month I tested out both the LUCKY DIP CLUB and THE MELT CROWD subscription boxes and enjoyed both - you can check out my thoughts here and here.

The theme of the October LUCKY DIP CLUB box is one that really made me smile.  As soon as I opened the box I just HAD to snap a few photos to share with you all so please forgive the terrible lighting but....

.....BISCUITS!!!

I've been so well behaved recently, going to the gym, eating well and god damnit I'd love me a wee biscuit right now but I think these little handmade goodies will tide me over for me.

Included in the October "BISCUIT" themed box I received the most adorably kitsch "hand-baked" NICE biscuit style personalised brooch, a holographic "I'm a clever cookie" print and a quirky little DIY mini biscuit party ring style cushion by biscuit fanatic herself, Nikki McWilliams, a super sweet party ring style desktop notepad and the charm of the month was of course, the best biscuit ever: JAMMY DODGER!

I'm stuck between the two Nikki McWilliams items as my favourites from this month's box.  I love little craft projects so this one was an instant winner for me and I'll probably use this as a pin cushion for future sewing projects AND I ADORE the holographic print.  I'm all about the holographic items these days and since I'm still trying to do some sort of gallery wall in my dressing room I just know this print will become a part of it.

The one item that just doesn't do it for me in these boxes I think would probably surprise most but I'm really not a huge fan of the monthly charms.  I think they are more suited to a younger audience so I'll be building my charm bracelet and passing it onto my niece - I'm not one to let things go to waste, I'm sure she will ADORE it.

Now it's no surprise that these boxes sell out in a matter of hours so if you like the idea of some girly treats dropping through your letter box soon, then it's almost the big day!  You can sign up on the 1st of each month and the boxes will arrive at the end of the month so if you're like me and forget about signing up, it'll be a nice surprise for you.

There are a number of subscription options available on their site so if you're interested, pop over and have a look around.

Have you ever had a Lucky Dip Club box? Or have you found another funky subscription service available to the UK that you wanna share? I’d love to hear about it.
