Lifestyle | My Little Wish Box - January 2016

My first ever "My Little Box" I'm SO FRIGGING EXCITED!

If you've read my most recent subscription box review here you'll know that I've been on a hunt to find new and exciting subscription boxes recently.  I love having a little surprise delivery arrive on my work desk every now and then but I feel like I've tried most of the big ones and quite frankly, I've gotten bored of them.  How many mascaras does one girl need?

The one box that I have meant to try for SO long has to be "My Little Box".  It's not a beauty box, or a foodie one, it just seems to be a little box of happiness really and I decided that January 2016 would be the perfect time to sign up.

My Little Box costs £11 per month + £3.95 but if you get it mailed to your office you can get a £1 discount - YES!  I was all over that bad boy!

Roll up roll up!!!  Are you a lover of stationary? TICK!  Rose gold? TICK!  Cute packaging? TICK, A MILLION TICKS!!!!

My first "My Little Box" has not disappointed me.  Gosh darn it I'm so bloody excited for this! Inside the (Positively adorable) box was hiding a beautiful array of goodies, just waiting to be unwrapped.

2016 Diary
It's MINT GREEN with ROSE GOLD writing!!  GAHHHH   GAAAAAAAAAH!!!  I just love it, it's pretty...can you tell that I love it?  'Cos I do.  Yip.
Now I know it's the end of January and I've failed miserable at finding a diary so far for this year.  I won't lie I was kinda hoping to pick up a sexy wee Paperchase sale purchase but now I don't need to.  This little beauty is just stunning.  The gold font and artwork at the start of each month is just beaut and it has quirky little quotes on random days throughout the year.  I'm excited to start using this.

A5 Walt Disney Print
It's Disney and it's cute.  I don't think there's much more to say on this one.  It'll go perfectly in my newly decorated bedroom...although I'm sure Graeme will disagree, he doesn't quite get Disney.

Friendship message bracelets
This one was a bit of a WTF moment for me really.  I'm not a fan of these, I'm 32 years old, I buy my mates gin not bits of thread with words printed on them.  I could see that they probably would appeal to some folk though, I mean they are pretty and all that but nah, I'll pass on this one and send them to my 12 year old niece.

Lip Balm by My Little Beauty
I've heard good things about the My Little Box own brand beauty items and who has too many lip-balms?  I keep lip-balms everywhere: coats, car, handbags - you can never have enough in my eyes and this one seems to be vanilla scented and feels super soft.  WIN.

Klorane Shampoo (100ml) and Conditioner (50ml)
A new brand for me here.  This stuff smells amazing, so FRESH!  I'm going to Barcelona in a few months and I think these sample bottles will be coming away with me.  They are infused with oat milk and are supposed to be ultra gentle and protecting, just what my poor hair needs these days.

Overall I'd say the January 2016 MY Little Wish Box was a hit for me.  Yes there was the weird thread bracelets but I'll let them off with that as the rest of the box was lovely.

I'll be staying subscribed to My Little Box and I'm excited to see what February has in store but I'm still on the hunt for more new and exciting subscription boxes to try out.

Do you have any new subscription box suggestions?
