B. Revealed Glycolic Cleansing Peel By Superdrug Review

I can only apologise if you came here expecting make up reviews, because recently I am on a major skincare binge and I just don't want to stop.  I have such a love for skincare products that my vanity and bathroom are bursting at the seams.

I've previously stated my love for a few products from the B. range, from Superdrug and today is no different.

I popped into store for another tube of my blemish serum (review here) and the whole range was on buy one get one free at the time YES!!  Sadly though, they only had one tube of my serum left in stock so I decided to go for the Glycolic Cleansing Peel  as my cleanser shelf needed a new addition (ahem).

Glycolic Acid is derived from the cane sugar plant and it's tiny molecules are said to be able to penetrate the skin easily.  It's effective for treating acne, blackheads, oiliness, dullness and fine lines.  So personally if I find a product with Glycolic Acid in it, I jump on it as my poor skin needs all the help it can get these days.

But what I loved most about this product has to be how light it feels on the skin.  The product is labelled as a "glycolic cleansing peel" so I originally expected a clear liquid similar to the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel (One of my all time favourites) that would leave my face feeling clean and tight but it's actually more of a gentle cream consistency that leaves the skin feeling fresh and healthy.

You've got 2 ways to use this product.  You can choose to use it as a normal daily wash off cleanser or for a deeper clean, use 2-3 times a week,  leave on for up to 3 minutes then remove with the handy muslin cloth that comes with the product.  It's enriched with cocoa and shea butters so not only does it deep clean but it also moisturises too.  Bonus.

The product comes in a simple 125ml white tube that looks slightly clinical but sleek at the same time.  At a purse-friendly £7.99 it's certainly a more attractive product compared to those other expensive items usually found on my bathroom shelves and one that I'll certainly be repurchasing.

Have you tried any of the B. range from Superdrug?  Or do you have any recent skincare discoveries to recommend?

The products really rival my high end items. They are relaunching their make up range soon too, one to keep an eye on for sure!!
