I've said it many, many times before so I hope this is not too shocking to you, but I'm a lazy girl. Like, really lazy. When it comes to tending to the everyday beauty tasks I look for all the shortcuts.
Spray on body moisturiser - check
Spray on body moisturiser - check
Brush on brow gel - YES PLEASE
And my most recent discovery - stick on nails.
OK, I know what you're thinking - stick on nails are not a new discovery but stay with me here.....

This means I don't really bother tarting up my talons too often. Sometimes if I'm feeling fancy I whack on a messy layer of black or red polish or treat myself to a wee gel manicure in the salon that usually only lasts around a week before I ruin that too.
So when I was lucky enough to be invited along to an event recently with the babes from Alex Silver PR I have to say I was a bit embarrassed about my lack of nail care. During the evening we had some KISS nails and lashes applied by the team from the Make Up Pro Store, spent the night being treated like princesses and then treated to a goodie bag full of the prettiest damn nails you've ever seen.
One problem I've had in the past with false nails is the size of my nail bed - I have pretty small nails and I usually wear them quite short too. Each pack of imPRESS nails are made up of 30 nails of varying sizes, and come in a natural length with various colour-way options.
The reason I love these so much? These are SO fuss free and super easy to apply. Each pack has a sheet to prep your nails, a small nail file and every nail is PRE-GLUED!!!
Yes, that's right! In the reverse of every nail is this pack is a small piece of plastic that you pull off to reveal the sticky goodness you need to apply a whole set in seconds.
I honestly spend more time deciding on which design to apply than actually putting these nails on my hands.
On first application I expected these to pop off within minutes. As I said, I'm not the most delicate of gals. But to my surprise these little magic sticky nails stay in place. And bloody well too.
These packs of imPRESS nails are perfect for a night out or if you're in a rush. As I said, they take seconds to apply and I've previously worn them for up to five days without any movement at all. They are an ideal additional to my lazy girl beauty routine and I'll certainly be grabbing more styles soon.
imPRESS nails are currently on sale in Superdrug for £7.99
Fancy grabbing some of these for yourself? Keep an eye on my TWITTER as I'll be giving away some KISS Products over on twitter very soon.
*Post contains gifted items, pretty nails now all my mine.

Aren't they just SO pretty!
DeleteI love the accent nails too but love how you're not limited to only 10 nails so have a choice if you want the accent or not!
Very handy.
Thanks for stopping by xx
False nails and I have a horrible history! My nails are naturally quite long but like yourself I can be quite harsh on them and I'm so impatient when painting them that they smudge immediately even if I have been letting them dry for like 20 minutes!
ReplyDeleteThese look absolutely fantastic. I've never been a fan of the liquid glue which you have to apply yourself, finding that they either damage my nails or when I'm pressing them down to dry my fingers end up sticking to the nail!
I must keep an eye out for these when I pop into superdrug!
One thing I loved about these and probably should've mentioned in the review - with the sticky pads, they leave very little on your nails once removed so there's no chunky glue residue which is GREAT!
DeleteThey are super handy!!
Awh these look gorgeous and they sound so handy! I think I will need a set of these to keep for the days when I am super lazy too! xoxo
