Beauty | In The Beginning, Deep Cleansing Melt By Temple Spa

What's better than getting home from a long-ass day at work, yanking off the bra and heading to the bathroom to remove your make up immediately?

For me, it's one of the best feelings and I've found myself falling in love with removing my make-up more these days, than actually applying it.

In The Beginning, Deep Cleansing Melt By Temple Spa

Cleansing products have to be one of my favourite items to test out and I've tried so many different formula's over the years so I was super excited to crack open my newest addition from Temple Spa;  the In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt.

Temple Spa are one of those brands I keep on a bit of a pedestal.  They supply some of the best Spas in the UK and I'll never forget being treated to a spa day by a colleague many moons ago in one of the best hotels in Northern Ireland.  The products scream high-end, class and sophistication for me and the In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Meltis nothing less.

The frosted glass jar, encased in simple but sleek packaging, not only looks like perfection on my bathroom shelves, but the contents within packs a real luxurious punch too.

Inside the box there is a little spatula provided to make application easy and I find that the spatula helps me make sure not to use too much product.  You only need a 5-10p sized amount for the whole face and neck area as In The Beginning is a balm like formulation so a little goes a long way.

On first application I think the first thing you notice is the scent; I was immediately transported right back to that spa visit from the early 2000's.  This product is a hand blended balm packed full of essential oils including Lavender, Vitamin E, Calendula, Clary Sage, Olive Oil and Basil, making the scent relaxing and soothing.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I have combination skin that can sometimes be pretty dull and lacklustre.  I love products that cleanse and exfoliate without being harsh and on first application of the In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt, I was reminded of one of my other favourite cleansing products, the Clarin's One Step Exfoliating Cleanser (review here) as this Temple Spa product also has gentle exfoliating particles but it kicks the Clarin's Cleanser out of the water when it comes to how it leaves my skin after use.

The In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt is hands down the most luxe cleanser I have ever used.  The soft exfoliating beads just melt into the balm as you work the product into your skin meaning that even though it's polishing and brightening your complexion, it's also deeply nourishing and kind at the same time.

Once worked into the skin for 1/2 minutes, you then use a damn muslin cloth to massage the skin before wiping it off to reveal a super soft, hydrated, glowy and plumped complexion.

To me, this cleanser is so, so beautiful to use but I don't think I could quite justify using it every single day due to the price point.  Currently retailing at £30 for a 60g pack(here), this is on the higher end of my cleanser budget scale and I'd regard this as a treat.  One of those products you'll want to save for those at home pamper nights when you get some time to yourself and want to pretend you're in a spa.

I'd highly recommend checking out the In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt from Temple Spa if you're looking for a new brightening product or you want to treat someone special in your life, this would make a wonderful gift.
