Winter skin, what a bitch eh? I don't know about you but I know my skin is in need of some real help right now.

Luckily for us, Superdrug have a new range of delightful facemasks at post-Christmas friendly prices to help us along to path to happy skin.

The new range of foodie based facemasks wouldn't look out of place in your fridge or kitchen cabinets as they are packed full of natural, fresh-feeling, tasty goodness.

The range consists of six different types;

🥑 Avocado & Oat - The perfect mixture of superfood goodness to help your skin survive the winter
🍓Blueberry Jam - A mixture of sticky, gooey sweetness to brighten & exfoliate
☕ Coffee - An amazing blend to help add a burst of refreshing vitality to your skincare routine
💆Charcoal - Skin need a bit of purification?  This one has you covered
🌴Coconut - A creamy, totally tropical mask with tiny exfoliating particles
🥗Kale - A vitamin mask to add a superfood boost to the skin

The packaging, consistency and ingredients actually remind me a lot of the Lush Fresh Facemasks but with the added benefit that these don't go out of date within two weeks, like the Lush options. These masks can be used up to 6 months after being opened.

The range of six masks come in a plastic tub encased in a detailed cardboard sleeve.  They are vegan, paraben free and contain lots of natural extracts (although they're not 100% natural) and of course, carry the cruelty free bunny that we all love.

PRICE POINT:
Just £4.99 for each tub, currently only offer right now for buy one, get one half price.

Superdrug own brand products are always so well priced in my opinion.  By now I think it's pretty obvious that Superdrug is my first port of call when it comes to beauty product shopping due to their offers etc but when you consider these masks are a pretty generous 75ml for £5, that's damn good value for money in my opinion.

I apply these masks with a foundation brush, which stops me applying too much product (and keeps my hands clean) so I think I could safely say you'd get at least a good 10 applications from each product.

THE VERDICT:
I've been testing out three from the range over the last three weeks and have enjoyed adding them to my collection and trying something a little bit different.

Charcoal
I'm a huge fan of charcoal masks anyway so this was the first one I went for.
The formula is thin and applies beautifully.  The product is comfortable on the skin and gives that deep down purifying cleansed feeling that I love.

Kale
The creamy injection of goodness into my skin.
I've recently started having microneedling (post to come one I've completed my treatment) and after the first few days my skin needed some moisture and tlc to help it recover and it one has been the mask I've been reaching for.

Coconut
My favourite of range by far.  I've never used a coconut mask before so the scent sold me on this one instantly.  But it wasn't only the scent.  The mask felt super nourishing on the skin and was comfortable to wear.  It leaves my skin feeling super fresh, I've been using this one on days when I know I'm going to wear a lot of make up/ have a big night out.

Next on my list to try has to be the blueberry jam mask as I've never tried anything like that, it sounds like it could be a bit of sticky fun, doesn't it?

Are you a mask addict like myself?  If so, you can see the whole range in-store now or online here and don't forget that Superdrug offer free delivery on orders over £10 if you're a member of the Superdrug Health & Beauty loyalty card free delivery on orders over £15 if you're not.

  3. Absolutely loving the look of these! I'm going to have to start keeping a list of what all you girls are posting about and suggesting! I've only ever tried a sample of the Body Shop Matcha Tea face mask and I honestly had no clue!

I would love to incorporate some more skin/face masks into my routine but I'm always petrified that I will have a bad reaction, but these all natural options could be the way to slowly inch me into the face mask addiction club!
