Lifestyle | My Weekly View #3

This week has been super busy..ARGH!!!

But I actually like that..  I'm one of these people who just can't seem to sit still for longer than an hour at a time.

So here's what I've been up to this week;

This week I have been LOVING Paloma Faith which is something completely different to my usual extreme metal, I must be mellowing in my thirties.  THAT VOICE!  She's been on repeat in my car a lot this week.

Did I say "mellowing"??  I think I fibbed actually.  As this week we had one of my OHs gigs in a local club.  He plays geetar for Bad Boat, a local Sludge/ Doom Metal band.  It's really rare for me to get to attend one of his gigs these days as I work 2 jobs so getting that rare occasion to swoon over your partner while he does his thing is just magical.  #Gush hashtag biggooeylove

I treated myself to a quite few new items this week.  I'm trying out a new eyecream, hair products and the new L'Oreal matt foundation & primer.  And I've also just purchased half of Ellies' blog sale so I cannot wait for her package to arrive with all of my goodies to test out some new foundations.  I'd recommend you all head over there and pick up some pretty things.

This week was one of my works wife's birthdays so we all headed out to one of my favourite restaurants for an amazing evening.  I've already spoken about Zen on my blog before and the visit this week certainly didn't disappoint.  A perfect night out for such a sweetheart and I nabbed her some beautiful gifts from my local Rituals store.  I had such a lovely experience shopping for her gifts, I highly recommend Rituals, Belfast if you are looking for something at surprisingly reasonable prices.  Such a treat.

This week a show was broadcast on TV that has caused a lot of uproar in the blogger community.  I'm a bit behind the times and have yet to get a chance to catch it so that is my plan for this weekend.  Shopping and catching up on tv.  I can't wait to see all my favourite blogger ladies on Plus Sized Wars

How amazing is the weather recently?  I think I'm totally getting into summer mode.  Windows down...YAY.
Recently I've been toying with the idea recently of having a spray tan or giving it a go myself.  I'm kinda scared, I've been pale for as long as remember.  Eeeek.

Have you got any tan recommendations you could send my way?

Have you been up to anything fun this week?

  1. What kind of bands do you like? Who is under the category of extreme metal? Not sure it's a branch of metal that I'm familiar with! Would love to see a post on your fave bands/gigs/festivals etc :D

    1. OOOohhhh I really should get on and do a music post, thanks :)
      A few of my favourite bands would have to include noise from Rotting Christ, Anaal Nathrakh and Meshuggah I think the genres of metal music do become a little silly when start trying to label everyone :) My tastes have certainly mellowed in the last few years since meeting my OH, he's more of a sludge/ doom/ classic rock kinda guy.
      Thanks for the comment xx
