Lifestyle | What I Got For Christmas 2015

In great blogger tradition I thought I should share with you what I received for Christmas this year.  It's only polite, really, ain't it?!  I mean, we're all here to nosey at each others bits and bobs, so Christmas really is just the perfect time to share.
Of course, this post is purely for those, like myself that are super nosey and perhaps are looking for tips for things to pick up in the sales rather than this being a boosty "look at all my stuff" post.
Usually at Christmas my two best friends and I got a little OTT on each other but this year we decided to book a trip to Barcelona instead of buying gifts, so I'm super excited about that.  The items I received in these photos came from my other half, both sides of family, work colleagues and I was also involved in three secret santas this year.

What I got for Christmas 2015

I was lucky enough to be given some cash before Christmas to go buy myself some items I really wanted so I picked the Soap & Glory The Whole She-Bang set, an Origins set, a new bottle of my favourite Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, some goodies from Maxfaxtor, Revlon & Bourjois, my Clarins cleanser and a Dior Diorific lipstick - then these were all tucked safely under the Christmas tree until the big day - it was TOUGH not opening it all before the big day.

What I got for Christmas 2015

My sister in-law kindly treated us to a new Tassimo coffee machine as our old one had a bit of an exploding incident.  I'm going to be totally addicted to the Costa Caramel Lattés come New Year - SO GOOD!  She also bought me a beautiful navy handbag, necklace and a candle by local company, The Bearded Candlemakers which I'm SO excited to crack open.

What I got for Christmas 2015

I was completely spoilt rotten this year, I am so thankful for my gifts and excited to play with everything too.  I received the stunning Laura Ashley gift set that I had blogged about (here) a few weeks ago, some Crabtree & Evelyn goodies, a Boots gift card, French Connection set, and a striking Zara statement necklace.

My mother stuck to a good theme this year - BLACK !!!  And I just loved everything!  She got me a black faux fur hat, stole and leather gloves with little back pom poms, an Oasis watch and some fashion jewellery to match.
My other half, Graeme completely blew me away this year with his gifts!  From the handmade wooden jewellery drawers that he had filled with Christmas decorations and stag jewellery (who doesn't love a stag?!) to the Alice in Wonderland colouring in book with two sets of beautiful colouring pencils. The cutest bear ornament from NEXT that I fell in love with a few weeks ago and adorable back skull candle that looks perfect on my bedside table.

Last but not least, Graeme completely stunned me when I turned around to find a collapsible light box to help me take blog photos.  This one just blew me away - he knows how frustrated I've been recently with my photos, I've been trying to improve my blog, especially since I bought my domain a few weeks ago and this little light box is just perfect for focusing on small beauty items and I can use the lights to help me with larger items too.

I truely am a spoilt girl this year!!
