B. Skincare | Pod Face Masks Superdrug New release

So, we all know by know that I'm a wee bit obsessed with skincare and facemasks, yes?

Yet another new product line from Superdrug and B. Skincare has dropped and I've been all over it like a cat in heat.

The B. Skincare pod masks are the perfect solution to a skincare addict's issues in my eyes.

  • Travel size
  • Don't spoil once open (individual pods)
  • Colour coded for supermarket sweep style shopping
  • Pack a punch for a bargain price
  • Love one & want more?  A larger 50ml is also available for £7.49

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of the B. Skincare range that is exclusive to Superdrug, some of my favourite skincare discoveries over the last few years have been from the brand; The Glycolic Cleansing Peel is still one of my all time favourite cleansers (review here) and I sadly had to stock pile my beloved Blemish Serum recently (post here) as it's now been discontinued but it's still one of my true skincare hero's.

A facemask is a real treat for me.  It's my "me-time" where I disappear upstairs for a little bit of self-care and Gillian time and although I have so many mask options at home already, I just couldn't resist trying these are soon as they were released.

There are four masks in the range;

B. Purified Clay Mask

THE GREEN ONE - The one stop shop for oily skin.  The Kaolin clay in this mask works deep down to give a thorough cleanse while the blend of oil absorbing ingredients and Eucalyptus Extract help to make the skin feel refreshed, leaving a mattifed, clearer complexion.

B. Detoxed Clay Mask

THE CHARCOAL ONE - My Bae.  I'm a huge fan of charcoal masks as they work to banish blackheads, clogged pores and blemishes.  This one is the most drying on the skin due to the charcoal powder but I suffer with excess sebum(TMI?) and this mask helps target that.  This is one you'll need to make sure you have a good moisturiser in your routine to double-team your skin with.

B. Glowing Clay Mask

THE RED ONE - To brighten, exfoliate and refine skin's texture.  Using red seaweed to extract and remove impurities and apricot granules to gently exfoliate those dry, dead skin cells.

B. Hydrated Leave On Mask

THE LILAC ONE - The only one from the range that is not formulated from a clay is your hydration miracle worker.  I'm a huge fan of The Origins Drink Up Overnight mask treatment and this product reminded me of that but at a fraction of the cost.

This mask is designed to be applied as a mask then massaged into the skin after 15/20 minutes and left on.  It contains Hyaluronic Acid which is the dreamy ingredient we all want when talking hydrating products.

This one left my skin feeling super soft and plumped and I've already bought the larger 50ml jar.  If you're like me and love using charcoal masks but they sometimes dry you out OR you're suffering from dry, winter skin, this would be great mask to help restore your plumpness.

Have you tried the B. Skincare masks yet or can you recommend me any other products from their range?

At the time of publishing, you can save a 1/3 off the B. Skincare masks online or in-store now.

Are you a mask addict like me?

  3. All of you's are turning me into a mask junkie :D They are some of the first things I look for when I'm in Superdrug or boots now :) Starting off easy with some peel masks and then working my way up. The Purifying one sounds right up my alley with my oily forehead!

  4. I love that more skincare brands are doing these pod versions of their masks as they're ideal for travel, or for when you don't want to splash out on the full size without knowing if it will work for your skin xx
