Beauty | Five To Try From REN Skincare

REN Skincare Favourites. 5 To Try From REN Skincare

A few months ago I did a post on Antipodes skincare and my top five products from the brand and I thought I'd start a bit of a series on the blog going forward, sharing my top five products from some amazing brands.

Not only do I get to share some of my favourite discoveries from the amazing brands but I though it could prove handy for those who had been toying with trying out a new brand but weren't too sure where to start.

I discovered REN Skincare back in 2017 when I spent over three hours in my local Marks & Spencer beauty hall, trying out all the latest additions with the in-store beauty team and falling in love with some beautiful products.

I've always been a cleanser junkie and REN Skincare do some stunning cleansers so it's only right that I share them here.

The REN Skincare Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Gel*
Part of my favourite range - the Evercalm range from REN Skincare are all designed to be soothing for sensitive and sensitised skin and this gentle cleansing gel is beautiful to use, provides a deep clean with just one pump without leaving any dryness.

With ingredients such as neroil to help give an even skintone, prebiotics to help balance the skin's natural bacteria and beta-glucan to reduce redness and inflammation, this is one of my go-to cleansers for that time of the month and I love teaming this cleanser with my Sensse silicone cleansing brush.

The REN Skincare Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm*
If you're in the market for a more luxurious creamy balm style cleanser, REN Skincare still have you covered.

The Rosa Centifolia range is designed for all skin types and this product is designed to be heated between your hands, massaged into the skin and removed with the muslin cloth included.

The balm has Prebiotic Oligosaccharaides to help provide protection against pollution and environmental stress and it melts away make up in seconds without any dryness.  It's even super gentle on the eye area too.

I sometimes even use this on the skin as a 10 minute mask as it's super moisturising on the skin and smells like heaven.

REN Skincare Flash Hydro Boost

The REN Flash Hydro-Boost Instant Plumping Emulsion*
One of my newest discoveries from REN Skincare is this special little tube of goodness.

The Flash range from REN Skincare is designed for all skin types and the products are instantly transforming and provide protective care for the skin.

This balm is packed full of Hyaluronic acid and Xylitol to help lock in moisture to the skin and leave behind plump, happy skin and help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

This is a product like I've never used before - you apply it to cleansed skin, before your moisturiser and then massage it into your face and neck using wet fingertips and it's a step I've really enjoyed incorporating into my routine recently.

I apply my moisturiser (currently testing out the new Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Defence) on top of this product and they work really well together.

REN overnight recovery balm for sensitive skin

Another new discovery from REN is actually one of their latest releases.

This overnight recovery balm is also part of the Evercalm range and I'm not going to dance around the subject that this little tub does come with a price tag.  At £40 for a 30ml tub this is a real treat but hear me out.

I got my nose pierced a few months ago and the skin around it has been super dry and unattractive but this balm has saved my scabby, peeling nose this last two weeks and I don't ever want to be without it now.

I don't think I've used an overnight balm previously so I wasn't too sure what to expect with this one but it's packed with active lipids from olive, almond, borage and linseed oils, this balm absorbs quickly to nourish and moisturse the skin overnight.

I absolutely adore the texture of this product, it's left me with a silky smooth nose (that's a thing, right?) and it just feels like sheer bliss on the skin.

If you're in need of some deep, intense moisturising, the overnight balm has you covered and if you're like me and love a good deal, you can actually get this product as part of this deal and save yourself a cool £13 quid on the pillow spray too BARGAIN!

REN Skincare Instant Brightening Eye Shot
Last up, the REN Skincare product that has actually been in my routine the longest, the Instant Brightening Eye Shot came into my life in early 2017 and I've repurchased this product twice over since.

This small but mighty (15ml) bottle is an anti-aging eye serum that helps reduce the red and blue tones in the under-eyes, making you look brighter and it works to target puffiness helping reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

It can be reapplied throughout the day even over make-up and the gel based formula absorbs super quickly into the skin with an instant cooling effect leaving you feeling refreshed and awake, this one may be last on this post, but it's certainly top of my favourite product list right now.

Have you tried any of these products OR could you recommend me some more to try out?
