Sheet Mask Star | Procoal Marine Moisture Masks

Procoal London Marine Moisture Mask

I'm 100% a self care Sunday kinda girl, and face masks are one of my essential ingredients for part of that weekly routine.

Each week I set aside an hour or so, pull out some new products for my weekly make-up bag, plan some outfits for work and then treat myself to a little bit of pampering.

I love nothing more than starting off a new week with pampered skin and freshly painted nails 'cos life takes over during the week and I don't get a good chance to do these things on a week night.

I usually stock up on sheet masks when I see great offers in Superdrug, Boots and the odd TK Maxx bargain find.  It's a well known fact now that I love switching up my skincare on the regular.  I love trying out new products and seeing how they work for me so when these Marine Moisture Masks* arrived recently from Procoal, I was very intrigued to read up on them and add them into my weekly selfcare Sunday routine.

Procoal London are a Cruelty-Free brand who believe in producing top-quality beauty products, using ethically sourced ingredients with full traceability, while keeping their products affordable and fun.

I was lucky enough to receive a pack of 4 Marine Moisture Hydrating Charcoal Sheet Masks which are free from parabens, pigments, silicones and mineral oil.  They are suitable for all skin types and have a whole host of benefits for their bargain price.

The masks are packed full of goodness;

  • "Nutrient-rich Martine Ferments: Marine ferments deliver powerful antioxidants and help the skin to retain moisture.
  • Botanical Extracts: Potent blend of botanical extracts help nourish and hydrate the skin.
  • Pro-Vitamin B5: Helps to keep skin soft, smooth, and healthy. Deeply hydrating, it helps to keep skin quenched by absorbing moisture from the air (clever!)."
On first use, the mask was a little slippy to work with and I was surprised at just how much serum was in the individually wrapped packs.  Each mask comes infused with around 25ml of the super hydrating, vitamin enriched serum which makes the masks a little hard to unfold and apply initially.
Once the mask is in place, it sits comfortably and secure on the face.  It feels lightweight and if you felt the need to wander around, it won't fall off when you stand up👌

The masks are designed to be worn for 15-20 minutes for maximum benefit and to allow the serum to fully absorb into your skin.
When removed, my skin felt fresh, plump and glowing.  There was no sticky residue left behind but there was still a fair bit of the serum in the pack that I then used as an overnight serum to keep my skin further hydrated.

The Procoal Marine Moisture Masks feel like a luxury treat on a Sunday evening and I've found them to be the perfect adition to my selfcare Sunday routine the past few weeks.

We recently had a weekend away to -10٥ Prague and I was so glad that I packed one of these into my suitcase, to help my dry, winter-beaten skin and keep me hydrated and glowing.

I've already repurchased these masks as they are currently on sale for just £13.99 here.

Are you a face mask addict like me?
